Comparisons
Comparing the hypotheses
Side-by-side analysis of IS against the other main UAP hypotheses across the dimensions where each is most often tested.
Main Comparison Matrix
Each hypothesis is scored on the dimensions on which UAP claims are most often tested. Symbols indicate qualitative explanatory fit, not statistical confidence.

Kinematics & Performance
Reported UAP routinely show extreme acceleration, instantaneous direction change, trans-medium travel and silent hypersonic flight. ETH and Breakaway Human treat these as engineering challenges that still demand undisclosed propulsion and inertial-management physics. IS treats them as resonant plasmoid dynamics inside UCRC, where stable wave-mechanical configurations behave as quasi-objects whose apparent kinematics are not bound by classical reaction mass.
Observer Effects & Consciousness Interaction
A consistent thread across high-strangeness cases is that the phenomenon appears responsive to observation, intent, or psychological state. Materialist hypotheses (ETH, Breakaway) have no native mechanism for this and must dismiss the data. IS predicts it: in a recursive self-simulation, the boundary between observer and observed is the active locus, so observer-coupled effects are expected at the edges of the rendered domain.
Ontological Coherence
ETH inherits but does not solve the hard problem of consciousness. Breakaway Human inherits the entire materialist debt. Ultra-Terrestrial is ontologically vague by construction. IS starts from a single ontological commitment, mind as primary, and derives the physical layer from it without requiring an external substrate or programmer.
Empirical Testability
ETH is in principle testable but practically gated by access to recovered hardware. IS is testable through the physical layer (UCRC, plasmoid dynamics, resonance signatures) and through observer-coupling experiments. Both are honest about what is currently in reach; neither claims falsification has been completed.
Explanatory Power & Parsimony
Hybrid models score well on coverage but poorly on parsimony, because they amount to a disjunction of separate explanations. IS covers the same range with a single ontology plus one classical physics, which is the parsimony argument: one framework, two layers, no external simulator.
Each hypothesis is presented in its strongest form before being scored. The aim is fair adjudication, not advocacy. Scores are working judgments and will be revised as the evidence base on this site grows.
